Always Best Care Senior Services announced that Lupita Espanoza of its Palm Desert, California office is the winner of the company’s first-ever Caregiver of the Year award. The award was presented at Always Best Care’s International Conference on February 26 in Las Vegas.
Based in Roseville, CA just outside the state capitol in Sacramento, Always Best Care is one of the nation’s leading providers of non-medical in-home care, assisted living finder and referral services, and skilled home health care. The franchise system’s third International Conference was held February 24-26 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
Ms. Espanoza’s award came with an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas, plus $500 in spending money from the company’s National Advertising Fund, which is made up of contributions encompassing all Always Best Care franchisees.
Ms. Espanoza gave a heartfelt speech at the awards ceremony on the final evening of the conference. “It is such an honor to be recognized as your first ever Always Best Care Caregiver of the Year,” she said. “It feels amazing to be recognized for something that I do with my heart. It is indeed a great feeling to help, to encourage, to guide, and simply to just listen to my clients’ inspirational stories. It touches my heart to see them smile, to hold their hand, to help them control their balance and take a step.
“Most importantly,” she continued, “God gave me new friends who now depend on me, who are now part of my life. I can truly say I love my job and my team.”
