What is a Stroke?

Acting FAST
According to the National Stroke Association, remembering the term FAST will help you recognize what to do in the event of a stroke:
F – Look at the person’s face – does one side droop, especially when smiling?
A – Look at the person’s arms – are they able to lift both arms or does one droop down?
S – Listen to their speech – does it sound slurred or is it difficult to understand them?
T – Time to act fast! If any of the above symptoms are present, call 9-1-1 immediately.
